Scouts BSA Troop 500 - Washington, DC -- Boys and Girls Welcome!
Welcome to the Scouts BSA Troop 500 Web site! We are glad you are here. Boys and girls can join Scouts BSA if they are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade, are least ten years and have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light award, or are age 11 but not yet 18.
New scouts can and do join the troop throughout the year so reach out to a Scoutmaster or come to a meeting any time.

TROOP MEETINGS
Troop 500 is currently meeting in-person on most Monday nights from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Meetings are at Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church
201 4th St SE
Washington, DC 20003
Scouts should:
- Wear Class A uniforms
- Bring their Scout Book
- Wear a mask if they are more comfortable wearing a mask; but, masks are NOT required.
Families interested in Scouting are welcome at troop meetings.
Introduce yourself as soon as you arrive! Future scouts should come ready to jump right into whatever fun activity we have planned for that evening. Adults can talk to adult troop leaders or other parents to get more information and insight into Scouting and our troop.
Boys and girls ages 12 to 17 or who have completed fifth grade are welcome!
